I really love the 'Coffee break suite'. The colours aren't girly so perfect for the men in our lives too but also it's so versatile it can be used for lots of different occasions.
Stampin' Up! have done their usual fab trick of making sure the stamp set, dies, designer series papers and embellishments all match perfectly making it super easy for crafters with or without experience to be able to create the perfect project.
On this card i have chosen two pieces of DSP, layering a smaller strip over the top of the larger piece to break up the background. I stamped the simple coffee cup shape and lid before running it through my big shot with the framelits. I decided to flip the lid of one of the coffee cups and created a bowl from it. Using the small heart stamp (also in this set) i randomly created a pattern and then stamped the little coffee beans and cut those out to create the effect of a bowl of beans.
The final touch was the sentiment 'Thanks a latte', stamped in matching garden green and cut out with the oval framelit included in the die set to coordinate with this suite.
If you would like to order any Stampin' Up! products i'd be delighted to have you as a customer.

I am the first to admit i have an issue hoarding crafting products, especially papers! When they come packaged and look so pretty it's hard to chop them up to use. I always end up with retired papers left over each time a new catalogue is released and they end up sitting in my paper store unused. So with this in mind i decided to start using some of them up and made a start on some Christmas cards. Santa's workshop was such a fun set of papers, especially if making cards for younger members of the family. I used a larger piece of dsp for the background but then also cut another strip with elves on to use as the main focus of the card. Mounted onto real red card and then some glimmer paper to cut the word 'Christmas' from adds a little bit of festive bling and sparkle. At least if i use up my old stash i have the perfect excuse to buy more of the new products :) If you would like to buy any current products please pop over to my online shop HERE
